Pantheon- a blog with many excellent authors. Just about any religious topic covered. Gangleri's Grove- Quite a few articles touching on some rare but needed topics. She also has an extensive links page I highly recommend checking out- I won't repeat them here. Many online shrine links. Home of MIKKAL- website of Michael Smith, PhD, shamanic practitioner and jungian psychologist. Andean shamanics, was the only site that gave me some insight after my heart was eaten. Yeah, sounds weird, go with it. I had to. Northern Shamanism- A site which I have found quite helpful. If you were a typical Joe blow like me and scooped up by the Gods without any pagan background then it is quite likely your experiences will resonate with information from this site. Or maybe not. Hosts many online shrines. Worth a read. The Troth- An international organization of Folk attempting to reconstruct the old Northern Religion. Site very useful for links to sagas and other important literature. Limited access without a membership. Runes by Freya Aswynn- She has a new site being built that looks to hold promise. Runic information- also sells art, books and a rune course. One of the few places left you can purchase Teutonic Religion as a pdf download. Neosalexandria- Dedicated to reviving Greek and Egyptian Hellenistic worship. Good site, much information applicable to all. Twilight and Fire- blog of a pagan monastic |
Icelandic Sorcery Video- very interesting video from the Museum of Icelandic Sorcery. Staves from the same Museum, a different site. Lord of Misrule - A good group of essays on Loki explaining His role in the universe, why He should be considered a God, and why many fear Him. Odin's Gift- Wonderful source for Norse mythology and poems- old and new! Out of Germany by Michaela M. Huginn Journal- An amazing new journal that provides a forum and a voice to alternative heathen viewpoints. Well worth a quick peek- will turn into a weekend visit! Lagutyr- neat blog. Devotee of Forseti with a bit of passion for Loki. Fruit of Pain- insightful blog by Anya Kless; Priestess, Author, Godspouse. Worth a read. MarisVision- amazing work by devotional artist Maris Pai. Some of the Gods portrayed include Freya, Frey, Lugh, Loki, Odin, Njord and many others. She truly brings the Gods to life. |
